Kids were very eager and excited about their first day. I may need to be reminded at the end of the school year, how pleasant it was to have a later start date than the kids. It was so nice not to be stressed and just enjoy taking them to school. I plan to enjoy this
privilege for the next few days.
As I drove in to work today to work on my classroom, it felt very strange not to have three little voices behind me. I guess we've been pretty
inseparable for the summer. I'm really going to miss spending my days just hanging out with them.
Everyone reported having a great day. After being home for five minutes, Delaney told me she just couldn't wait to go back because first grade was SO MUCH FUN!
