Drillers Game

We kicked off the holiday weekend with an evening at the ball park with the Waller family. It was an absolutely gorgeous evening and I was quite impressed with the new ball park. The kids suffered from the "I wants..." for a bit but by the 5th inning, after I had purchased dip-n-dot for everyone, they finally settled in to really enjoy the game. Just as the game ended and the fireworks were to begin, a heavy down pour began. We headed for the covered area and watched some of the fireworks before making a dash for the car. I was having camera difficulties so I only got a couple of pics with my iphone.
