Spring Break

I'm obviously six months behind but I'm going to try and catch up a bit, our biggest adventure since Christmas-spring break.

We decided almost a year ago that our next vacation would be skiing.  I must admit that I was a little apprehensive.  Skiing has just never really appealed to me. I dislike the cold and I would just rather soak up some rays on a beach somewhere, but I was pleasantly surprised and had a great time.  In fact, I will even go so far as saying, I won't mind going again.

Our friends had warned us that the kids would probably dislike the first few days, which was another concern of mine.  Seriously, who wants to fight with your kids on spring break?  However, to our surprise, they absolutely loved it from the very beginning.  They spent two days in ski school and they were little pros.  Without a doubt, watching them ski was more fun for me that actually skiing myself.  Baylor probably surprised me the most with how much he enjoyed skiing and has asked at least three times if we are going again next year.

We visited a Hot Springs for a little swimming.  The girls kept Delaney stunting the entire time.

Never thought I'd ever get in a pool in March.
